“New Orleans: Strategies for a City in Soft Land” documents a one-year investigation of New Orleans and its animate forms of exchange within the Lower Mississippi River Basin. Completed by Busquets and Correa just weeks before Hurricane Katrina struck, the research cuts through multiple scales and topographies as it moves from synthesizing the vast deltaic plain to carefully measuring and calibrating the liminal space between the river and the city’s urban edge
